This MABBCO® PERFORMANCE Remanufactured Short Block is for a Ford 302 5.0 motor from 1968-1980. This block is identifiable by its heavyweight crankshaft (casting #2M or #2MA) and non-roller lifters. MABBCO® short blocks include NEW pistons, piston rings, rod bearings, main bearings, cam bearings, timing set, and freeze plugs. Each MABBCO® short block is custom assembled as ordered, so please call us for current build times. MABBCO® short blocks are sold outright (No Core Return Required).

This MABBCO® PERFORMANCE Short Block includes the following: (1) HYPERUTECTIC Flattop Pistons, (2) MOLY Rings, (3) HARDENDED Connecting Rod Bolts, (4) ARP Main Bolts, (5) Double Row Timing Chain, and (6) your choice of an RV, 268 TORQUE, or 280 MUSCLE Cam (please note, other cams available, call 903-597-2441 for details or assistance with camshaft selection).
